Baghdad municipality puts forward new investment project

November 5, 2008 - 06:35:54 BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Baghdad’s municipality on Wednesday proposed a new investment project to develop the area of Umm al-Ward in Baghdad, according to an official statement. “The designs department has referred a project to develop the area between the suspension bridge and the Tho al-Tabiqeen (Two-storey) Bridge to a specialized company,” read the statement that was received by Aswat al-Iraq. The project includes the construction of a modern residential building and a five-storey shopping mall, according to the statement.
